I play guitar on a semi pro basis, and i developed artheritis on my left hand that was so painful. I was recomended to dr harley and for about a year received steroid injections on this joint. There came a point that it was not good and my joint was swelling and my finger was getting shorter. so i was told all the way through of my different options, and one was to have a silicon joint replacment. I was very worried that i would not be able to play the guitar any more, but i can and am back doing gigs. It will never be as good as it was, but i am pain free, and back playing guitar. And his stiches are amazing i can hardly see the scar. My very best wishes and thanks to you.

It has been almost a year since Mr. Harley operated on my right hand, I was very worried about surgery on my hand as I like to paint, sew and do all manor of craft work, however after an operation to perform a trapeziectomy on my right thumb and a trigger release (also carpol tunnel release on the same hand) I am now back to normal. I can do all my art work and I am quite capable of gardening. I am very glad I had the operation done and I suffered very little pain. Mr. Harley is a very capable and kind surgeon I would recommend him.

Mr Oliver Hardy carried out the initial consultancy attentively and with much diligence. He ensured he had a good understanding of my physical health, and a full history of my particular ailment. His professionalism and friendly demeanour gave me every confidence I was in the best of hands, and so it proved to be. The combined procedures were carried out with much care and great skill, and with the minimum of discomfort. Expectations on recovery times were explained, and these are being achieved. It has been a very good experience.

Mr Harley operated on my hand, the operation was carpal tunnel release. The operation was quick, no more than 20 mins, and whilst I could feel something was happening to my hand, the local anaesthetic numbed actual pain. The wound has healed well, and I stopped experiencing pain in my hand at night immediately. The numbness I had in my fingers before the op took longer to go, this started to disappear after about 2 months, but after 4 months it has almost completely gone. So the operation was very successful and has freed me from a lot of pain. Mr Harley was most efficient and skillful, and is also considerate, easy to talk to and helpful.
